I’m Deepesh Sudhakar — a Product Designer with 10+ years of experience building complex, high-impact products — now specializing in AI systems.

Currently, I lead design for DigitalOcean’s Agentic AI Platform, turning systems like RAG pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, and real-time monitoring into intuitive, production-ready experiences.

I’ve shipped 0→1 products, built design systems from scratch across multiple companies, and partnered directly with enterprise customers — from factory floors to the C-suite — to solve real-world problems.

My Epic Journey to Mastering the UX Quest!

As a curious engineer with a knack for unraveling the mysteries of how things work, I embarked on an adventure into the realms of engineering and information technology. Armed with my technical skills, I set out to build awe-inspiring products that would leave people in awe. But, alas! I soon realized that my creations were only tailored to my own preferences and lacked inclusivity for all users. It was then that I discovered the hidden secret of successful product design - the power of human-centered design!

With newfound wisdom, I delved into the world of digital and IoT products, honing my skills in various design processes and techniques. But the real gem of my journey was the exhilarating process of ideation - where I unleashed my boundless creativity to come up with ingenious solutions that combined technical prowess with seamless user experiences. It was like wielding a magic wand that could transform abstract ideas into tangible realities!

Driven by an insatiable hunger for innovation, I set forth on a daring campaign to establish a Maker Space in my university, a haven where all students could bring their wildest ideas to life. Here, I honed my skills in prototyping and experimentation, unlocking new levels of mastery in my understanding of product development. It was a thrilling ride that tested my limits and expanded my horizons in ways I never imagined!

But my quest didn't end there. The true revelation came when I realized that it's not just about building products, but about solving real-world problems for real people. This realization propelled me towards the fabled realm of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), where I could further sharpen my skills in creating user-centric solutions. My time at IBM, collaborating with diverse teams across the globe to resolve complex issues, only served to validate my unwavering passion for pursuing a master's in HCI.

Now, armed with the profound understanding of the importance of user-centered design and the thrill of creating world-class products, I'm on a quest to integrate the principles of UX into every aspect of the product lifecycle. It's like embarking on an epic adventure, where every challenge is a puzzle to solve, every user need is a quest to fulfill, and every product is a victory to celebrate!

Remote Traffic Control

Designed and developed a wireless traffic signal control system for Bengaluru Traffic Police to aid traffic cops during a traffic congestion. Was featured on National TV.

Portable Intrusion Detector

Designed and developed the system in an Altoids box for portability. The detector can be easily deployed anywhere, with phone notification and web dashboard log on detecting an incident.
